What ?  When?  Where?   Why?  How?   When?  Who?

Curiosity is a large part of the human psyche. Human  beings  seldom stop thinking, asking  questions  or wanting to learn. It’s never too late to find out more! MALA can challenge you to keep the grey cells ticking over!

MALA is a Western Australian organisation intended to provide opportunities for people to expand and enrich their knowledge in a friendly, social environment. It is for those who recognise that learning is a lifelong process, desire to keep their minds active and would like to find some practical ways to do so.

MALA provides learning experiences in a relaxed environment. Every year since 1980 in the Perth area (more recently in Mandurah - the Peel District - and in Rockingham) we have sponsored stimulating educational studies for mature people. During that time thousands have enjoyed our programs. Short courses are held once a week over two ten week semesters each year. Lectures are based on an exceptionally wide range of topics delivered by experts in their various fields.

Courses for first semester 2018 are now available on the Perth Courses page. Information for Peel and Rockingham programs will be posted as they become available.

YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HELP

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day on 11th November 2018  RSLWA will be installing 62,000 handcrafted red poppies on the lawns of Kings Park.

This is being done as a visual tribute to the 61,513 Australians who lost their lives in World War 1

You can help by making some of these floral tributes.
